Place is small and quaint...Totally appreciate the staff's friendly service. We enjoyed Chef Jay's amazing up beat attitude and friendliness.

Our group of three ate at Old Smokey's for lunch yesterday and we split a Crunchy Chicken Sandwich and a Ham and Cheese Sandwich between us. The food was tasty and the atmosphere was homey. But what endeared me to the place and earned it 5 stars was our server Sheila. Sheila was SOOO attentive to my elderly mother and her only-slightly-younger sister-in-law. My mother started coughing while eating (a side-effect of one of her medications). Sheila came by immediately to make sure she was ok and chatted with her for a few minutes. She continued to be attentive to our whole group by keeping our sodas refilled and even giving us our last servings in to-go cups for the road. Too bad we live so far away or we would make sure to eat at Old Smokey's if we knew Sheila would be working that day.

This place is awesome. Quick service, large portions, and phenominal food. The hash browns are to die for.

The food was truly delicious as a Diner or family restaurant. I had the hamburger, my daughter had the egg and avacado sandwich, and we both had onion rings. The sandwich and burger were perfect. And the onion rings were outstanding. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The cook came out and said hello. They close at 2PM. They serve only breakfast and lunch. No dinner hours. (Not a problem. Just be aware for planning.)The mustard bottle was grimy and stucky, though. And the prices were quite high. It's was about $25 for just these two items. See the photos for the portion size. The portions were perfect for one meal. We didn't leave hugry. But the cost for the portion was too high. The cost about nd the mustard bottle are why I didn't rate it 5 stars. I would go back if I were in the area again. Good onion rings wins!

Stopped for breakfast. Not very busy but took an hour before we got our food. After about 15 minutes they brought us our drinks and we said we were ready to order as well. Took another 15 minutes for someone to take our order of eggs, sausage and toast. Another 30 minutes before the food arrived. Mediocre at best. There are lots of places in towm. May want to try somewhere else.

I liked this place for this town. It was good home cooked food. I got the French dip bc they were out of the ribs and it was pretty good. Excellent service! Waitress was very kind.

Great old fashioned restaurant. Wife had the buckwheat pancake, i had the waffle. Outstanding. Cook took the time to talk to me. Good old time hospitality. Will go there again.

Went for breakfast. Fast, friendly service and a HUGE amount of yummy food. Prices are reasonable for a tourist town.

Service was terrible, I personally did not feel welcome. 5 minutes to get our order taken. 10 minutes to get our drinks. 30 to get our food. I'm giving 2 starts because the food was okay. Either the waitresses didnt care or it was the chef. I asked them to be easy on the cheese but I got a lot on my omelette. If you are a person of color don't come here.

Terrible service, waitress was rude and ignored us and was making fun of my family right behind us. Food took forever to be cooked, it does not take 30min to make a omelets and then they were incorrect. There were hardly any customers in the place. Save your time and money and eat elsewhere. They didn't even take anything off the bill after the order was incorrect. The waitress threw the bill on the table and walked away.

Definitely don't count this place out! The interior is old and kitschy, but the servers were amazingly friendly and the food was delicious. We came for lunch and the fryers were broken, so no fries, but they offered sides of hash browns instead and took 10% off of our bill for the inconvenience. The food was fresh and the prices were just right for what you received. Will definitely come here again when in the area!

Old Smokey's Restaurant is definitely the best diner that we found in Williams Arizona! And, when I say it's the best I don't mean compared to other diners in town, I mean that it is just darn good!!! :-) You definitely need to have your breakfast and lunch here! ( I know my family and I will be going back tomorrow morning for breakfast, again!)The staff and owner are kind and friendly. giving a wonderful example of how proud they are of not only their restaurant but of the town of Williams. They gave us plenty of tips of what to do throughout the town and in surrounding areas, letting us know that we won't be amiss for fun things to do on our little vacation. :-)

If you are on route 66 or doing route 66 the town of Williams Arizona is an absolute must stop off. It has everything route 66 you could wish for and imagine and this quaint little restaurant is amazing!! It's so so traditional roadside old school American and the portions are huge and delicious with extremely friendly staff. We stopped in for breakfast and for two meals with drinks we left stuffed and for only about $20.

Since having a new owner this place has been amazing! Good food, good staff what more could u ask for?

This is a very friendly place with great customer service. I recommend the philly cheese steak sandwich—very tasty! The sweet potatoes, french fries and onion rings are super tasty and crispy. Can’t wait to try other menu items. Thank you Old Smokey’s!

The pancakes are amazing and the size of a Smartcar. The bacon is also expertly prepared with just the right balance of crispy and chewy. It was also somehow amazingly grease free. The only downside is this is a small town diner and sized accordingly. If you come on a busy weekend you may not get in. If you can, it's worth the wait.

Stopped here on the way to the grand canyon. Had the country fried steak. Best gravy I've ever had. Asked for more realising it meant I would probably forgo eating the rest of the day. Totally worth it. My family was there and enjoyed everything they had as well including pancakes, French toast, etc. Whatever. I would eat a shoe if it was covered in that gravy.

A favorite go to place when in Williams!

As I'm writing this review I have been waiting for 30 minutes for my food. It is not busy at all and another table who came in minutes after is received their food before us. The waitress walked outside during her shift and within sight of everyone, grabbed her boyfriend's cigarette and smoked. Something is backwards here.

Got the corn beefed hash with eggs. Was very good and most places make them tasteless. This was not the case was very very good.

Excellent food and the service was even better. They are busy on Saturday morning but we're hustling to get all of the folks taken care of. We're from out of town but would recommend this place to all!

Loved the steak with asperagus and fries. The prickly pear sauce is amazing.

Small, pleasant breakfast and Lunch place. Excellent and quality breakfast, decent prices, friendly staff. Many international families travelling through to the Grand Canyon stop here and have a wonderful time.

We stopped in for some breakfast and it was quite delicious. The food was excellent and there were a lot of options to choose from. I am raring this four stars because the staff was a bit under experienced, but very kind. I think this is to be expected from a tourist town.

Very SLOW service and the food was just ok. There was only one other couple there, so I have no explanation for why they were do slow. The server was nice.

5PM Sunday Dinner, place was dead and service was rather slow. We were a party of 4. Ordered two fried chicken specials, and two BBQ Chicken sandwich plates. The two Fried chicken platters were good, soupy mashed potatoes though. The BBQ Chicken sandwich plates were... terrible. Chicken was tough, buns were soggy (dripping all the way through the bread) Couldn't even pick the sandwich up without having it mush and fall apart. Waffle fries were over cooked and most were burnt black. The building and bathrooms were clean.

Been there three times. Once on a car tour, twice on my bike. All three times loved it. Diner food, tasty, friendly, no complaints. next time in Williams gotta go again!

Decent breakfast sandwich, and huge portions. However the quality left something to be desired. I hear the menu will be updated very soon.

It was empty around 4pm when we got there. We went in and got the lunch / dinner menu. No breakfast after 2pm I think he told me. We got the 3 piece chicken dinner and hot roast beef dinner. Chicken came with mashed potatoes and gravy and sauteed asparagus. The beef came with asparagus and I substituted seasoned fries for the baked potato. Everything was very well prepared and tasted great. The chef prepared everything made to order and food came out quickly. The chicken was the crispiest we've ever had and the roast beef and gravy was perfect texture. The asparagus was lightly cooked and still crisp. The fries were perfect and not soggy. I highly recommend it for standard American diner fare.

The waitress is absolutely the best. The atmosphere is comforting to both the traveler and family environment for both the traveler and locals.

Best lil diner in the area. Amazing breakfast food, everyone at the table was happy. Staff and Owner were very pleasent and sociable. Definitely coming back for breakfast when I visit again.
